CAKEMIX audition guidelines

1. This is an audition. Show off! Show us what you will be showing our audiences. Impress us! We will assume that whatever you give us in the audition is your very best. Don't hold back.

2. We have selected songs that test your fit for our band. You should know them stone cold. We do our homework. We expect you to have done yours.

3. Play to your strengths; compensate for or avoid your weaknesses. We are most interested in seeing precisely what you are able to do well.  

4. This is our band, but it's also your audition. If something is not a good fit for you, speak up. Your ability to sensitively place your own needs in the context of ours is an important skill in the context of the band. If we see you exercise such a skill with grace, all the better.
